Due to some internal changes there is now a position available for A Residential Care Home Manager to come and join them. The main purpose of this role is to take overall responsibility for all aspects of the running of the Home. To ensure the staff team enable the service users to lead a valued and fulfilling life and to maximise the potential capacity of all service users, physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. To develop new initiatives in care practices and the overall delivery of a quality service.

As the Residential Care Home Manager you will be involved in many areas of the business, from budgets to recruitment, medical supplies and quality issues. Health and safety and importantly the internal communication between all staff at all levels. You will be creative in your approach in terms of activities, events, any areas which can provide a better service will be strongly encouraged.
The Home is a challenging one which will require great attention to details and the utmost discretion when dealing with the service users and their friends and/or family. You will have a minimum of three years experience working in a residential setting with users who have learning disabilities or mental health issues.
Ideally as the Residential Care Home Manager you will have a registered managers award or equivalent qualification, if you are working towards this then that is fine. A NVQ level 4 in social care is also required. You will have a sound knowledge of the CSCI inspection process, and understand the requirements and procedures.
