Ongoing locum Social Work position within Bedfordshire's Fostering Service. As a Qualified Social Worker, you will be managing foster carers who look after children with disabilities. The role involves having six weekly supervisions with each foster carer
creating and developing ideas to manage health, physical and behavioural issues
offering telephone support
running support groups for carers
chairing meetings
and dealing with childcare support workers who directly support the service users in their own homes.

Applicants need to have a professional social work qualification, be registered with the GSCC and have post-qualifying experience of working within fostering.
